    How to sell cars online fast? For MINI, we provided an answer in the form of a customer journey by explore, configure and search the car of your dreams. A sticky blue button always leads to the next step: discover, compare, purchase.

    Our job: Relaunching the entire international NIVEA website, including changing the CMS—while the production machines rumbled away beneath our desks. Loved this job and since then I’ve only used NIVEA cream—no kidding.

    Content

    Around two-thirds of the population want brands to take a clear stance on socially relevant issues. Storytelling increases sales figures, brand value, and relevance. I still believe that content is king. I worked as a journalist in my early career, so I always enjoy creating, structuring, and presenting content.

    MINI Electric Hub

    I was delighted to design a content hub for electric mobility for MINI. Ultimately, information and facts help to overcome prejudices against electric mobility as well as an irrational clinging to outdated technologies. At least, that’s what I hope.

    BMW-M Plattform

    Creation of a communication platform for BMW M fans. (M as in motorsport.) For people like me, who associate the ideal line with health and the green hell with travel, this meant a lot of research! But it was worth it! And it showed that everything is interesting if you get involved.

    Website Relaunches

    For me, the best moment in a project is the beginning. When you look at a website, research the brand, products, and target groups, identify strengths and weaknesses, and still have complete freedom to make everything better. And even if not all the good ideas in a relaunch project end up going live, you’re still happy about every single one that made it online.

    Pinkstinks

    Relaunch concept that combines educational mission and fundraising needs. Our main navigation corresponds to Pinkstinks‘ mission statement: We are changing the world.

    Continental Intranet

    Creating the digital home for over 227,000 employees at 427 locations in 56 countries—one of my main tasks for this relaunch was stakeholder management. At the same time, this was also my first major Scrum project, which I was able to accompany first as Creative Director and then in implementation as Product Owner.

    My biggest career aspiration back then was to work for a women’s magazine. So the opportunity to design the relaunch of Brigitte.de was a jackpot for me. The balancing act between content and commercial interests was a challenge and I really enjoyed it. Even if, unfortunately, commercial forces won out in the end.

    Automotive

    I hardly ever drive a car myself, but I have spent a lot of my professional life building car websites. Showrooms, configurators, test drive appointments, shops, vehicle specials—I’ve done it many times, and yes, I’m much better at it than driving a car.

    BMW International

    I I worked on several launch campaigns and showrooms for BMW (e.g., 3 Series, 4 Series, M5). I also designed web specials on topics such as BMW design, automated driving, and BMW Individual.

    MINI International

    I designed three generations of showrooms for MINI (the first, the middle, and the most recent) and all kinds of special features and extras, such as the first accessories showroom, a technical encyclopedia, a service area, dealer pages, and a financing hub. I worked for MINI on a permanent and freelance basis and for several agencies, but one thing has always been clear: Is it love? Yes.

    Škoda International

    At first glance: a different shade of green. However, my role in this project was team lead for concept development, so I not only designed a new showroom for Škoda, but also initiated and supervised the concept development process. And in doing so, I learned a lot about collaboration and motivation.

    Small Website Projects

    There are no big budgets or awards to be expected here, but instead: a lot of freedom and little coordination effort. What I particularly like about smaller projects is that you work on the project from start to finish, and if something is wrong shortly before going live, you don’t write a Jira ticket, but change it in the CMS itself.

    Choice Tea

    For the product launch in Europe, I designed a website for tea that naturally offers a PLP and a PDP along with a shop connection, but also provides a wealth of content that positions Choice as a brand with attitude. My favorite content: a tool for instant inspiration depending on your mood and situation.

    I can still remember the uncertainties I had as a young mother about how often and how best to wash a child. I think dog owners feel the same way. This website not only offers good products, but also good answers.
